Enjoying our Wisconsin landscapes often overwhelms me, as I want to visually take in all of the lovely details. Here I was inspired by some twisted roots while on a walk in a bluff area of Door County. I love layering the pastels, discovering how the colors and strokes of the hand engage viewer in my personal visual experience.
