Art Without Boarders

I had my inspiration for this project when this summer my family hosted my brothers friend. He had grown up a majority of his life in the Inited States but he was originally from japan. I loved hearing him talk about his culture and traditions. I find it very interesting hearing about other cultures. I created this work with acrylic paint and ink pen. I used some stippling and cross hatching within the work to give texture and dimension to the piece.
